    Though the fan has some wear, primarily with the material, the structure of the fan is solid.
    It was part of a collection that came into my possession earlier this year.
    Purchased at R.H. Stearns Company, Boston.
    Date on box is inscribed '1901.'
    The store catered to the carriage trade (well-off customers.)
    Box included and in good condition.
    Fan is 9 inches long with a matching tassel.
    The wood design is exquisite.
