    Description

This week I will be listing individually 6 different pieces of hand painted Limoges serving china.  They are produced by different manufacturers as noted, all painted by the same hand and all but one are signed S.R.R., 4 dated 1914, 1 dated 1911.  5 share a common motif; sea life, including seaweed, different types of shells, and each of those has a sea urchin.  This is beautiful work and all are in excellent condition with the only wear being to some of the gilding.  There are inclusions and other tiny blemishes from original manufacture as was typical during this time period.
This auction is for a pierced handled serving bowl with nasturtium flower motif.  Measures 13.75" at handle extremes.  Weighs slightly over 1 lb.  It is marked GDA France and is signed S.R.R. 1911.  Vignette decorations are on the inside bowl perimeter, with gilding to handles and rim face.  Minor wear to gilding.  All else excellent.
Always happy to combine shipping for multiple auction item wins.
Please see photos and message me with any questions.
    Thanks for visiting my auctions.
    Buzwards eBay Listings Policy Details......
    Description:
I buy and sell lots of stuff, and have 40+ years of experience, but I don't know everything.  I do my best to accurately identify the items that I put up for auction.  I may not get it exactly right every time, so I appreciate any information you might wish to provide.
    Condition:
All of my items (unless otherwise noted) are acquired from yard and estate sales, flea markets, thrift shops and the like.  In other words, they are used.  I inspect all items and describe them to the best of my ability, though there could be some tiny flaws that I may have missed or condition issues that I deem insignificant.  I take a lot of pictures, so please view them closely as they complete and are an integral part of the description of the item you are bidding on.
    Cleaning:
I perform a precursory cleaning as part of my inspection, but any detailed cleaning will be the responsibility of you, the new owner, and based on your preference to detail.
    Packaging:
I always pack very carefully, sometimes double boxing if I think it is appropriate.  Paper or items that could be damaged from exposure to moisture are usually sealed for protection.  I do recycle, so you could be getting packaging materials that have been previously used, but it is clean.  I do have pets, though I do my best to avoid shipping kitty fur and doggy hair.
    Shipping and Handling Charges:
Shipping charges are always as per eBay's shipping calculator.  I will often upgrade the method that you paid for if my discount allows.  Handling is almost never charged unless there is some extenuating circumstance, and that will be noted in the listing.
    Shipping time:
I ship Priority whenever I can, no matter what you paid for, and package within 1 business day of your payment.  Due to the pandemic, I no longer make trips to the Post Office.
Instead, I schedule next day pickup at my home.
This has worked out well generally speaking.
As of late, however, due to the strain on the Post Office, shipping is all over the place.  I've had items take over 2 weeks that I paid to ship Priority,
and I've had 1st Class mail get clear across the country in 24 hours (not even sure how that's possible).  So, please be patient and check the tracking.  I always provide tracking.
    Insurance:
I insure 99+% of the time.  Sometimes insurance is covered with Priority shipping.  If that doesn't cover the value of your item, I will pay for the appropriate amount of insurance to make sure it is.  I never charge you extra for insurance.
If items are damaged in shipping, please
    take a photo
of the item and all the packaging as you received it.  This is required for insurance coverage.
    Feedback:
I feel that feedback is important.  I always leave feedback immediately upon shipping, and also when I receive something that I buy (I'm also a buyer).  I greatly appreciate your feedback as well.  Though I do not generally accept returns, please contact me if something is really off from what you expected based on my description, and I will make it good.
