Limoges Roses Plaque Gold Frame Hand Painted Large. Condition is "Used". This is a beautiful T&V France plaque of hand painted Roses . The mark is T&V France and is also embossed with the letter "D" and 24 over 18.I would date this piece to the early 1900s. The colors include multi color roses, dark gray across the bottom reflecting the colors, gray on top with gray to gray /blue leaves, buds and stems, also a little plum color. Unfortunately there is no artist signature to be found. I removed the frame to see the back of the tile but no signature. The gold frame does have damage along the bottom as if it fell from the wall. Fortunately the tile has no damage. No scratches nor any paint loss. The size is 9 3/4" x 7 1/8".Please send any questions.
