Old Man of the Mountain New Hampshire White Mountains 66 Year Old Stamp Block

A beautiful collectible set of four U.S. postage stamps issued in June, 1955 to pay tribute to the Granite State, New Hampshire.
Millions of visitors and residents were lucky enough to see the "Old Man of the Mountains", part of the White Mountains before he tragically lost his nose to a heap of rubble in 2003. The formation has been the state's emblem since 1945.
These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the
Post Office over 65 years ago!
Suitable for framing, they would make a gift for anyone interested in New Hampshire history or was lucky enough to have viewed the formation.
