RED SOX-FENWAY PARK -12x12" SECTION OF GREEN MONSTER 1976-2002 - LEFT FIELD WALL

Description

Original 12 x 12 inch section of the Green Monster with over a dozen ball dents.
Large piece of Fenway Park's left field wall, part of numerous renovations by the Red Sox new owners before the start of the 2003 season.
This section was cut from a huge panel, one of many removed back then when the organization starting putting ads on the Green Monster.  Was up there from 1976 thru the 2002 season.
This piece measures one square foot, replete with
12 or 13
visible ball dents from the 25+ years it was up in Boston's historic ballpark.  A few are very pronounced.  The Wall section still has ancient foam rubber remnants on the reverse, which is in back of the wall's surface to dull the caroms.
There is considerable oxidation on the lower portion of the reverse; this particular piece was close to the bottom of the wall, just above the first eight feet feet of the base, which is cement.  Moisture got through near the seam over the course of twenty five years in place.
The oxidation on the backside does not affect the display ability of the Green Monster section one bit.
