Queens, New York.
Provenance - Medal is properly hallmarked on reverse bottom, Wm. Schridde, Chicago, Sterling Silver.
Excellent design with "Baseball" band at top, a batter and catcher, and 1920 directly below those images and at the bottom a pair of crossed bats.
Acquired in a Tallahassee Florida Estate that was adjacent to the famous Bradfordsville Blues Club, in Bradfordsville, Florida. It was represented as property that was owned by a descendent of John Henry Lloyd.
This makes sense as the Brooklyn Royal Giants as mentioned won the Independent League Championship in 1920 and John Henry "Pop" Lloyd was their star player and manager.
Very rare to find vintage Negro League memorabilia let alone with a great provenance and it excellent condition.
