    Description

    From a local estate this sterling silver (acid tested) trophy is dated October 25, 1949.  It is for first prize...American Embassy Bogota(Columbia) in a golf tournament.  This piece weighs 127.4 grams which is substantial for a small piece.  It is hallmarked in the base, difficult to read and I do not know who the maker is.  It stands 3 1/2" high, the base measures 1 7/8" across.  The piece measures approx. 4" handle to handle.  The center opening is 2 1/2" across.  It is in very good condition, no dents, patina from tarnish.
