This was manufactured by The Wilson Sporting Goods Co., Chicago, New York and Other Principal Cities, Made in USA. This Item was originally marked .50 on the box. The Box with the lid on,  measures  9-3/4"H  x 9-1/2"W x 9-5/8"D and the Lid (has a 2-1/2" crease on the top left side) measures 1-3/4"H x 9-3/4"W x 10"D by itself.
Spalding invented the first "Laceless" Basketball in 1937, according to one source. This is Not a molded basketball, This Is A Stitched Basketball. This 4 Panel Leather "Laceless" Basketball measures approximately 29-1/2" in circumference, when using a cloth tape measure. The Basketball is partially inflated for display and holds air.
