Vintage A. R. Kern Signed Handmade Mountain Dulcimer, 1970's, Made in W. Va.

Description

This is a beautiful vintage dulcimer that I acquired at an estate sale in western New York state.
It is an Applachian Mountain Dulcimer, handmade and signed by A. R. (Ambrose) Kern, who was a well respected dulcimer maker in West Virginia.  This one dates back to the 1970's.
It measures 37 inches in length and is complete.  It has only a few scratches on the back and otherwise, no condition issues at all.  It comes in the original hard case which has some scratches on it also.  According to the person I bought it from, it was played briefly when it was new and then kept in a cupboard after that.
