Vintage Mountain Lap Dulcimer-Handmade Freeman D. Jones 1978 Etowah NC

Vintage Mountain Lap Dulcimer from a local estate. It was purchased and stored in it's hard carry case for over 40 years. This Dulcimer was Handmade by Freeman D. Jones March 7th 1978 in Etowah NC. The inside is signed with the makers name along with #142 and handcrafted.
It is approximately 36 1/2" long and the body is 2" thick. There are two strings attached and a pack of strings inside the case. Also in the case is a new vintage Harmony G400 music stand, metal tin of "Fast Fret", A-440 Master Key Pitch Instrument, guitar pitch pipes and vintage rosin in cork case. The carry case is in great shape. Lite wear from being in the closet. The Dulcimer is in amazing condition. Certainly looks like it was played  a very limited amount of times and we'll cared for. Greatly crafted and it shows.
